East Coast Christmas Wedding 1

January 8, 2017 by 20 Comments

As many of you know, my brother-in-law got married a few weeks ago. The wedding was a beautiful Christmas affair on the East Coast.I recently posted photos of the hairstyles that myself and two of the other bridesmaids wore, and you requested that I share more snapshots from the weekend. Here the are! More coming soon.

The first two are from the rehearsal dinner, and the second two were taken at the ceremony. The last picture shows the church when we first arrived. We put the poinsettias, altar, and two chairs in the back room because the wedding colors were green and gold (not red).

We didn’t need to add extra decorations to the stage because it was such a beautiful chapel on its own. After the ceremony, it took us less than 10 minutes to return the church to the way it was before the wedding.

Sure was! Thankfully I had a sweater and a long coat. It was totally worth the chill though because the dresses were so pretty.

We put the poinsettias in the back room during the wedding and then returned them to the stage before we left for the reception. The wedding colors were green and gold, so the red poinsettias didn't fit.

This is sort of off topic but did you watch the movie 'Cold Mountain's? It is a bit risque in parts but it is also a kind of pilgrims progress analogy, I think.

      Hi there,

I haven't. Do you happen to know what it's rated?

I think she's talking about "Cold Mountain," the movie with Nicole Kidman, based on the book by Charles Frazier. If so, that movie was rated R, if I recall. Skip the movie and read the book, if you must.
