Rocky Mountains Paintings

August 24, 2017 by 15 Comments

Photos and details from Day 5 of our Rocky Mountain adventure (the day we drove up the Icefields Parkway and walked on a glacier that is as thick as the Eiffel Tower is tall) are coming soon. Until then, I have something else I would like to show you.On my post about Moraine Lake, I mentioned that my husband has done multiple paintings of places we visited on our trip, and I have since received requests to share those paintings with all of you…so here they are! I’ll also include the photo(s) that inspired each painting. Which is your favorite?

They're all well done, but Moraine Lake is my favorite! I love the blues of the lake.

That's a hard question. We saw a lot of different types of landscapes, so I really don't think I can choose a favorite. 🙂

Moraine – a word I hadn't heard since college geology class. If you don't know what it is, look it up. Very fitting name.
