New Year’s Eve Appetizer

December 29, 2015 by 17 Comments

Just this morning, I received a comment from a reader looking for a warm dip to make for New Year’s Eve. I quickly texted a family-friend who made a Mexican dip for my parent’s annual Christmas party that was absolutely delicious. She responded right away! It isn’t the healthiest thing you’ll ever eat, but it’s sure to have your mouth watering.

Maybe you would enjoy this. Quantities depend on the size of the dip you want.

In a food processor, mix sour cream and cream cheese. I usually put 3/4 cup of each.

Spread it on a plate. Top with one layer of salsa, one layer of shredded lettuce and one layer of shredded cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
