Mr. Handsome’s Ship Paintings

October 14, 2017 by 16 Comments

Mr. Handsome the painter has recently become interested in a new subject: ships. These three original ship paintings are some of his first attempts. The photos simply don’t do them justice. They are so much better in person, and they blow me out of the water every single time I look at them. No pun intended…

Amazing looking pictures! My favorite is 1, 2 is an interesting view much less done but great, 3 has wonderful colours – but it has the ship positioned the same as 1 and the picture looks calmer and near the shoreline. He should do the three ships on Christmas morning. Thanks for sharing and congratulations to your talented husband!

Those top two are kinda scary. How about painting a ship on a nice sunny day when it doesn't look like there's about to be a catastrophe?

That's okay, they're not for everybody. Mr. Handsome specifically painted the ships so they are going towards the light. ๐Ÿ™‚

The light is confusing in these pictures. Light on the wave caps, light on the ships, light on the sails, but light source itself in another direction. ??

Mr Handsome has produced some intriguing paintings! It's a pleasant surprise to see his art work! Thank you both!
Ellie if yiu write an adventure novel, then, Mr Hansome could be the illustrator of the exciting parts. He has a gift, to match yours!

I like the paintings. The first two looks like they are weathering the storm and the last one the storm has pass, the sun has come out. I love paintings, seems like they are telling a story. Thanks Mr. Handsome for sharing your paintings..Jane
