Thank you Ellie. Sounds like the boys are having some fond memories and you all are having a nice summer. Our summer is going well. I’m making an effort to go to my exercise class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and do a YouTube exercise video the other days except Sundays. I’m also managing to participate some reading challenges and get several books read. We are in monsoon season here in Arizona so going on long distance drives are out of the question. Some of our thunderstorms can be quite severe. Well you take care.

Not very often but some severe thunderstorms can produce a small tornado. I took a picture of a funnel cloud last summer but it didn’t touch down.
How nice to have a video from you Ellie! It sounds as if your in laws live in Nashville now? I dont remember them being close enough for babysitting duties before. Great to have extended family around. Have a good week!
We do have some family in town, but the in-laws were just visiting. They visit a lot, which is great.
Mr H, your sand stories had me remembering camping as a child and then as a parent. The same chorus was heard in all those years, “take your shoes/ sandals off before coming into the tent”, “dont drag the sand/soil/dirt in”!
All three, but especially sand seems to multiply and spread from a few grains to out of control piles!

Yes! I can relate. The few times I’ve camped, this has always been an issue.
Nice to see you now, very healthy and happy. Those children get very good care from you. There wasn”t much mention of things about Mr Handsome and you though.
One question I have is if you have read the book “Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents”? That question is definitely not inferring that is the case of you as parents. Its just a book that you might be interested in reading. In a way it does help people examine themselves. It is always going to be relevant to some situations and can give a person some insight when they encounter such situations.
Your situation seems ideal. In todays world that is challenging.
Anyway you should also post about those children’s toys.
