Where in the World?

July 10, 2017 by 43 Comments

Hello, Nashville Wife followers! Last week, I took a blogging break, and Mr. Handsome and I spent eight days on a relaxing but adventurous vacation. It was great to unplug from the world (Mr. Handsome even put his phone on airplane mode!), connect with each other, and experience God’s beautiful creation.

I have tons of photos and stories to share, but today, I’m just going to post a few teasers to see if anyone can guess where we went. What do you think?

Moraine Lake, Banff, Alberta! My hometown! If the tourists get too much for you in Banff, head to the town of Canmore. Are you also going to check out the Calgary Stampede, which is currently running?

It looks like the Rockies here in Alberta, the cabins look like Jasper and the Icefields nearby. Eileen

You either got insanely jealous of Forsyths on their honeymoon and took off for Switzerland, or you went to the Canadian Rockies. I'm guessing the second one.

I was going to say Canadian Rockies. I've been there in winter but not in summer. I live in Alaska so I know these photos aren't of Alaska.

I think Iceland. It's the popular spot to visit these days. Affordable air fare but everything else is pricey. You are a good economizer so I could see you working it out.

After looking in mouths all day, a person would need lots of mind blowing events to give great memories so there would be great things in mind to dream about!

If I was a dentist I'd also try hard to have better things on my mind! Can you imagine trying to sleep with nothing but visions of everyone's mouths?!

I agree, top poster. They seem to travel a lot, especially for someone who's establishing a career. At my dental practice, the new/young guys have to work Fridays and Saturdays. No weekends off.

Lucky for Mr Handsome that he has been blessed to work somewhere where he gets weekends and holidays and that he lives in a country where he has the freedom to make choices and do things he likes to do with his own time and money. If they budget they can probably do these things economically. And it is probably comparable in cost to playing video games, buying tickets to sports events, hobbies, golfing, entertaining a lot, going to gyms, going to bars, building cabins, etc. So can't people choose what their interests are? Or does the direction for that have to come from an approved authority we all must listen too?
