Update on Little Lady and Q & A

May 4, 2024 by 14 Comments

Hello blog readers! Sorry we have been MIA recently. Life with a baby is always busy, but we are really enjoying the dynamic of having three children. It has been a lot of fun to see them interact.

Like her brothers, Little Lady struggled with jaundice as a newborn. Instead of being readmitted to the hospital for treatment, we were able to find a medical supply company that had a blue light blanket available for rent. Little Lady’s doctor prescribed it before her levels went high enough to require hospitalization, so we were able to keep her at home. Her doctor closely monitored her bilirubin levels.

Little Lady is smaller than her brothers. At 12 lbs 12 oz, she is average sized for a three-month-old girl. Until about a few weeks ago, she was sleeping really well. She even had about a week when she was sleeping through the night. Then she hit a bit of a regression and wakes up multiple times a night, but she always goes back to sleep quickly, so I can’t complain.

I am going to plan to be more active on the blog. I would like to do another Q and A post, so feel free to post questions in the comments section, and I will answer them in a future post. They can be about anything.

My question is how have you found going from 2 to 3 children? Glad little lady didn’t have to be admitted to hospital

How do you manage to make time for all three blogs especially since each one is moderated? Though keeping up with the Bates and Duggars is fine,I’m far more interested in your blog.
Do you think you will pass the other two blogs unto someone else in the future?

The first time someone ask you how many children you want you said 4-6. Some years later you was ask same question you said 2-4. My question is do you know if you will try for 4?

We dealt with jaundice but just kept the baby at the hospital where everything could be monitored around the clock by professionals. We would not have wanted to play the home version of that game.

Thank You for the update on Little Lady. Glad she is doing better and did not need to be hospitalized. Are the boys protective of Little Lady?

I am sorry to read Little Lady had jaundice but glad she did not have to go through a hospital stay. It seems so quick to read she is 3 months already. The baby stages move so fast. It is good to find a new post from you and know you are all well and are enjoying being a family of five. I look forward to reading anything you are comfortable sharing. Eileen

I remember when you were either engaged or newly married, you had said that you wanted 5-10 kids. Has going through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and raising kids plus your pregnancy losses changed that number?

I’m curious about your career. Your blogs are something good for sure, but have you done other writing? Have you got any other career projects you would be willing to share news about here? May you, Mr H and your family always be blessed by God from above with all good things and much love.
