Apparently, JewelScent specializes in beauty products–including candles and soaps–that contain a piece of jewelry valued at $15-$7,500. Well when I found out that there was something in my candle that could be worth seven grand, I started burning it night and day.
It wasn’t long before I noticed a shiny piece of foil in the pool of hot wax.
To avoid burning my fingers, I used a fork to fish the foil pouch out.
I unfolded the foil and found a beautiful ring wrapped in plastic, and it happened to fit perfectly on my right middle finger. The JewelScent website has a page where you can type in the serial number of your piece of jewelry and receive a free appraisal. Unfortunately, mine only ended up being worth $20, but it still looks great.
I’m always on the lookout for unique gifts, so I’ll definitely be browsing the JewelScent website at Christmastime.
