As a way of wishing all my readers a happy new year, I’m kicking off 2018 with a giveaway. I’m raffling off two copies of the movie Extraordinary, starring Kirk Cameron, Leland Klassen, Karen Abercrombie, and Shari Rigby (I met Shari Rigby in 2016–click here to watch my interview).
Based on a true marriage journey, Extraordinary tells the story of ultra-marathon runner and college professor David Horton, his wife, Nancy, and their attempt to finish their marriage race well. Although proud of his incredible athletic accomplishments and the impact he has on his students, David’s family continuously pays a high price for his years of competitive running. Following David’s open-heart surgery and irreparable knee damage, Nancy is ready for her husband to hang up his racing shoes for good and focus his boundless energy on their family. Feeling called by God to “inspire people one last time,” Dave sets off for a 2,900-mile race across America.
Extraordinary will be available on Universal Pictures Home Entertainment DVD and digital on January 16th. Follow the prompts on the Rafflecopter Widget below to enter to win.

Tara, I pray for the Lord to give you the physical and mental strength you need because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Blessings to you.
Thanks to my mom, I love older movies the best. My favorite is My Man Godfry starring Carole Lombard. I also love silents. Sometimes I watch more modern movies on Netflix.
If you don’t mind me asking what work to you do that allows you to still homeschool? I’m planning on homeschooling as well and we start this year!
I don't know if i have a favorite movie i think it just strikes whatever mood i'm in. I am a huge movie buff though. I love good positive entertainment that you can just relax and take message from. You are so kind to give these opportunities to your readers thank you.
Most of these films center around husbands defying the odds (and usually the wishes of their wives) to do whatever it is that they want to do (for this film it's running). Are there any films that portray a wife as overcoming adversity to fulfill her dreams?
