Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers! Here are a few Bible verses to help us all develop an attitude of thankfulness:
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods.
(Psalm 9:2-3)
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
(1 Chronicles 16:34)
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
(Deuteronomy 8:18)
Every good gift and every
perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
(James 1:17)
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be
anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:4-7)
Is their anyone reading this comment that doesn't know God but would like 2 and would like to become a Christian?

Joyce Myers did a talk on gratitude to God and not complaining and grumbling that I just watched.
She said don't fault find your by husband because there are plenty of lonely women who would like to have someone and would love them just as they are warts, stinky feet and all….so just be glad if you have someone to eat with.
Hello Elllie,
Many thanks for this reminder of what we should do every day : be grateful for all the good things in our life instead of losing time in complaining about our problems. And it's particularly true here, in France, during this difficult moment. Please read this comment without the mistakes 🙂 Best wishes, Anne
Hi Ellie, I was wondering where did you get that information about Abe Lincoln.
Online research or a history program on TV?
Hi there!
Someone shared the information with me, so I did some research online to verify it. I knew you all would enjoy hearing it. 🙂
Ellie
For me, on TV.
